I’ll be reading poetry and some fiction with several excellent writers this week, as we kick off a new reading series at a beautiful loft space in Oakland that has great vibes.

My poetry has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and a California Book Award. My most recent essay was published in the Smith Alumnae Quarterly. My poems have been published in West Trestle Review, Essential Truths: The Bay Area in Color, The Lake County Bloom, Poem of the Day at The San Francisco Public Library, Wordpeace, and elsewhere. I've been an Artist in Residence with the California Arts Council and have been awarded residencies at Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Vermont Studio Center, Hedgebrook, and the Writers on Site Program of Poets and Writers, Inc. sponsored by the James Irvine Foundation.
